Lois M. Muthig, age 87, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012 with her loving family by her side at Heartwood Homes in Menasha. On May 18, 1924, Lois Mae was born the daughter of the late Frank and Della (Balthazor) Young in Deer Creek, Wisconsin. Lois was united in marriage to Oleen Muthig on August 31, 1944 in Bear Creek, Wisconsin; he preceded her in death on November 23, 1988. In her later years, Lois enjoyed reading and embroidery. She was a very devout Catholic; attending Mass and reciting the Rosary daily. Lois will be missed by her loving children: Owen (Bev) Muthig, Gary Muthig, Steve (Julie) Muthig, Susan (Randy) Timm, Mary Ann Heling, Theresa (Kevin) Weber; grandchildren: Owen (Wendy) Muthig, Daniel (Kari) Muthig, Dawn (fiancé, Jason Klein) Mindel, Dean (Kara) Muthig, Jason Muthig, Kiley Muthig, Danielle Heling, Mackenzie Weber; great-grandchildren: Kelsey and Hunter Muthig, Addison, Maxwell, Emerson Muthig, Chace and Parker Mindel, Gavin and Grant Muthig; her brother, Ralph (Violet) Young; and her sister, Wilma Muthig. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Patrick Weber; two sons-in-law: Chuck Sieber and Mike Heling; three sisters and four brothers. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 324 Nicolet Blvd., Menasha, with Fr. Larry Abler officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the hour of the Mass at the church. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
Mom and Grandma, Thanks for giving us the gift of faith and endless love. We will never stop loving you. Please say "hi" to Dad and Mike. We won't say goodbye ''' just see you later!
